Dr. Mark Horton, director of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), today warned consumers not to handle or consume frozen Peanut Butter Cookie Dough distributed by Sweet Success Fundraising Inc, of Ontario, California because of potential contamination with Salmonella. The Department further recommends that any dough that has been thawed or baked should also be discarded.

Adding weight controlling drugs orlistat or sibutramine to behaviour change programs for adolescents may provide additional benefits. These findings mark a change in opinion.

These and other effects are discussed in a Review published in the February edition of The Lancet Neurology, written by Dr Mark Wilson, Centre for Altitude, Space and Extreme Environment Medicine, University College London, UK, and colleagues.
