Congratulations on great advice. I think this presentation is very important. It is most relevant to the human being! You can’t say better that that!!!
Thank you very much Mr Siegel for your detailed explanation. I am more informed of the anatomy of pelvic floor muscles and functions. I have been suffering from incontinence problems for years and now has aggravated however the urologists here check me up for prostate cancer.
I have battled with PE for 11 years due to severe prostatitis. Any of the kegel muscle exercises and or the anxiety related relaxation techniques were completely ineffective for me. I got involved in a clinic trial at a urologist clinic in Orange County about a year ago with a drug called promescent. It has an absorption technolgy where it goes sub dermal and leaves sensation but somehow takes away the “ticklish” sensation i was feeeling. It should be avaialble soon, Watch for Promescent
The other recommendation is to maintain a healthy weight, since carrying extra pounds puts a burden on the pelvic floor and can exacerbate any type of hernia or prolapse. BTW, there are colon and rectal surgeons who can repair rectal prolapse.
Thank you Dr. Andrew for providing these invaluable information. I suffer from rectal prolapse from a long history of constipation. I’ve learned to deal with constipation through proper (high fiber) diet, but the prolapse is apparently irreversible. I know it’ll get worse as I age, and I fear the complications of surgery. Beside avoiding straining and pelvic floor exercises, do you have any other life-style recommendations for someone in my situation?
@incontinencedoc Is sucrose the same thing as fructose or similiar? I drink alot of gatorade. is this ok? or do you perfer anything else to this? Thanks
I am not aware that PFM exercises play any role in ovulation!
These exercises will tone PFMs, not abds….however, core exercises including Pilates and Yoga can exercise both.
@ridzzzzzzzzzz Not likely to, but it may help the problem from progressing.
My uterus is extremely low. Can this exercise fix that problem
@lavaboy23
