Yoga may push away sadness for an hour or so but I wouldn’t recommend it for cases of depression. If you’re interested, here are the four REAL keys to happiness:

I really enjoyed this class, and also love the geese and other birds going in and out the scene. My cats often accompany me during my yoga practice and it makes me happy.
I absolutely LOVE this video! Thanks for sharing!!
So healing, thank you so much!!!

I’ve done yoga every day for 30 years now — I cured HERPES — lip AND genital — with a non-physical form of YOGA called immunics — I’ve doing IMMUNICS since 1993 — I haven’t had flu since I cured the herpes — I’ve seen people cure CANCER with this –
I do yoga and immunics in short bursts — THROUGHOUT THE DAY — keep myself feeling great ALL DAY — FRIEND me on Facebook — Bayard Henry Barnes — 813-672-3419
For lessons google IMMUNICS & CureDrive
@psilogon I feel she’s doing fine. Perhaps you could be easier on yourself? keep practicing and go with it. ave fun with it. Don’t judge her and don’t judge you. There’s nothing like being in class in person and getting the instructor to help you out physically if that’s what you need.
immunics

I was in a happy mood then decided to type in “sadness ” on youtube search. 20 seconds in, I felt like being a suicidal….
@psilogon Very good points and great timing! We are redoing the YogaYak website and will endeavour to better develop our “poses explained” section. More precisely, each of the poses should be listed and linked to a video explaining the proper way to perform them. The current “poses” section can be seen here yogayak d*t com/category/video/poses/
I enjoy watching you, but from an instructional point of view, it would be useful to see how a typical inexperienced person can properly execute more primitive forms of these stretches. As you know, a beginner will strain himself and learn bad form by expecting himself to mirror his instructor one-to-one. In reality, each move has constituent steps, and it is these that need more focus in typical yoga instruction.
These are just my 2-cents as a layman.
@0sadbychoice0 I would say expect nothing…that way you’ll always be surprised
In my opinion, your reaction shows that you should do this more. Good luck, namaste!
@bambikohaku I meant was that something I should have expected…
trash
@0sadbychoice0 what is “normal”?
God/Jesus/Buddha bless you Andrea MacDonald and YogaYak. I keep on returning to this, as I keep on returning to dukkha (life, eh?). It is so beautifully paced, narrated, and put-together. Big Love, Steve
