Every time I try to meditate…I fall asleep!…what exactly am I supposed to do acharya shree?

@fiscornioman Some people have an odd talent for that, i can only do it for about 5-6 minutes but a good friend of mine got up to twenty minutes.

hi acharya..i wanted to thank you for your guidence and wisdom…also i wanted to know what you think of a spiritual practice i came up for me …i stare in the mirror at one of my eyes it helps me to disconnect from my ego a bit…i have also been using your heavy breathing technics and they help me feel free for a few seconds…and i wish i could meditate more often cos i seem to have success with it which i didnt expect …i know now i want to be enlightned like you))

but I can tell you how. Do abosutely nothing. Just be.
And when I say nothning, I don’t mean think about doing nothing, you can’t “try” to meditate because trying is the opposite of meditation. Literally, just sit and exist.
It’s difficult to break the habit of constant thinking and doing, but once you do you will realize it.

Hi, I’m wondering how long can one go breathless without causing damage to themselves in meditation, as I’ve heard that holding one’s breath for too long, 5 minutes or more, can cause brain damage. Thanks for your help.
@ObsidianImages Didnt u follow the whole clip? Free ur mind. Meditions belongs to ur soul. When ur soul awakens….meditation starts. Know that u are not the body, ur are the soul who is using the body to prcess karma.

i have watched many of his videos and he very rarely blinks. its incredible. that has to say something to his credit. he has probably meditated so much that he doesnt blink or something, i dont know.
@Nexxion Nexxion, quit being a prick. He states here what meditation is NOT but does not give proper practices.If youre just going to be contrary and suck up his hiss, then dont speak to me. I probably have more knowledge and practice of meditation than you ever will. So think before you type-he states what ARENT the methods, but dosent say what needs doing. Maybe that could have taken you a few seconds to figure out, while youre not sucking up.
@Nexxion Wrong. he dosent mention where to fix the mind, or what to do with it.
@ObsidianImages I don’t know much about meditation, but he pretty clearly states the ‘correct’ ways to meditate throughout the entire video. To sum it up, meditation shouldn’t be forced, you need to let your body flow naturally. If you’re forcing thoughts into your mind, then let them go; If you’re forcing your body a certain way, then let your body relax. It isn’t hard to infer these things if you think about it for more than the couple seconds it took you to type that up.

so how does one become enlightened?….uf not through meditation…i didnt understand what that last step was before becoming enlightned…..i once fainted after unseccusfeull meditation..cos my back was asleep or something…and it felt like a no mind state or out of body experince was it ano mind state cos i was aware of it 100 % my eyes even were open and evrything was clear and there was no sound or thoughts

I have one question..when I do meditation every morning I feel good during meditation for 15-30 min. or few hours but rest of the day I didn’t feel that good…sometimes feel helpless or want to do nothing…why is it so??? My lifestyle is not that busy and I have enough time for doing things..please advice
