The focus of this meditation is to quiet the Somatic Nervous System (Voluntary Nervous System). 1. i am studying for finals and i am so stressed and i came across this however i felt like i was going to pass out after 2 mins. did i do something wrong

  2. stop saying soft!

  3. This doesn’t seem to work on me. I used to be able to watch these videos and relax easily, but recently I have been thinking about too much stuff, and have been worrying about them so much and wanting to make them right, that I can’t even concentrate on the video. It’s usually my breathing that gets me worst, my breathing gets out of control and I have to concentrate on that to try and slow it down, and that stops me from doing other things like concentrate at the gym which I used to enjoy.

  4. FUCK!!!. it was 3 am i dont remember what happened all i know is that i wake up like on 3 pm with my headsets and this video….now that i see it i think i know why :S

  5. @QuietMindCafe AIDS = Acquired immune deficiency. If relaxation supports immunity, then relaxation fights AIDS.

  6. @Ir0nF1st924 I’m not truly afraid, but the feeling kinda scares me. As soon as I open my eyes I feel great. Once I was meditating and the bed was behind me..however I had the feeling I was floating around the room and although I knew I was on the ground, it didn’t feel that way. Another time I felt like I was on a field and I could actually feel the grass on my feet.. is that good?

  7. @lexiika7kittenz theres nothing to fear, when you start to feel like that just move your shoulders slightly to reassure yourself that you are fine. and i read your comment about not being able to breath, consciously force yourself to breath deeply for a few seconds. if you are truly afraid, dont meditate. i just get extremely tired and lose feeling in my muscles, but it feels good to me, as soon as i open my eyes all feeling returns and im slightly less tired.

  8. @thissucksmy2 No — fear does not aid AIDS. Relaxation supports the immune system. I can understand how there may be some frightening things inside that you don’t want to come to the surface. You should find somebody who you can explore these thoughts with. A professional will know how to help you with this exploration in a safe way. Then you can restart the relaxation practices and guided meditations. — Best wishes to you.

It could be you were at the point of awakening to your “true nature”.
Same thing happened to me 3 months ago but i was curious about it and went into it…
It ended in deep depression and anxeity..
Dont meditate anymore , respect your fear.. It is a warning..
You can lose so much in one moment..

  10. @Ir0nF1st924 Yes, that’s exactly how I feel!

  11. @munjerdo I feel like I can’t breath..and I get nervous.

  12. @lexiika7kittenz is it the fear that your subconscious wont let you control your body if you stay like that for too long?

    wat do i do??????

  20. @lexiika7kittenz It seems that you like the idea of relaxing and letting go. But if the sensation is frightening I think that you’re right and it’s good to stop. Perhaps you will be content in practicing only a few minutes each day until you become comfortable for longer periods. I wonder about the source of the fear — its as if there’s something beneath the surface that you would not like to have come out.

  21. @artemisshock keep at it. Meditation has clinical benefits and can literally change the way your brain works, in a good way. It can also improve your physical health. That’s why hospitals have started using it in their recovery rooms.

  22. I have recommended this kind of relaxation through guided meditation to a few friends. They have all had positive results using it and are continuing to use it each day after work.
I use this all the time and it works wonders for me.I also use it when I am having a panic attack.

  25. Its unbelieveble how I just felt my body softer and it all let go. But I have a problem. I am scared of the feeling and after a couple of mins I stop everything. Is that normal?
